n Northern part of the agriculturally undeveloped Province of Cotabato and to establish thereon an Experiment Station. The purpose was to stimulate the rapid agricultural development of the Region by demonstrating to the natives as well as to the settlers and farmers in general better farming methods and technique, by raising productive varieties of local farm crops, by introducing and acclimatizing selected imported planting materials, by conducting researches along agricultural lines and lastly by disseminating the useful results derived there from to the farmers of the neighborhood or in the Region.
